I am a romantic whom unfortunately fell for an ice queen. I had this opal engagement ring custom made for her to pop the big question. She was irritated by my love poetry and compliments, and preferred the solitude of her laboratory. The lack of emotion was driving me literally acting stupid crazy, and things soon fell apart as the pedestal I set her on came crumbling down. The dust of reality has settled, and I have found a true and wonderful love that treats me as well as I treat her. So, it's time to move on. But the energy I put into having this ring made was very positive, so I do not feel bad or resentful about how things turned out, and am quite happy all-around. It is important to know that there is not any sort of dark cloud hovering over this ring. It is very beautiful and a one-of-a-kind, and I know there is a very unique and beautiful lady out there that it was truly destined for, and I send it away with the happiest of feelings.
